Introduction

Nice to have you with us again for another episode of Digital 4 Productivity. And as a regular listener of this podcast, you’ve probably already heard about GPTs. ChatGPT has extensions, a bit like browser plugins that you might know from Chrome. The idea is that there are extensions and in the past they could only be used in conjunction with a paid ChatGPT account. The good news is that you can now also use them in the free version of ChatGPT. You can’t create your own, but you can at least use them. And they are still free of charge. At some point, ChatGPT will introduce a monetization model there, similar to the AppStore, so that the extensions that are used the most can then be given a price tag. They are currently still free of charge and here are the best GPTs from the various areas.

I have brought a few more for you from the areas of shares, learning, prompting, research and so on. Of course, you will always find the links for the topic of shares and in the show notes. So if you go to my website, Digital 4 Productivity, and then always click on the menu item Block and Podcast, you will always see the links. And of course you can also send us an e-mail to t.jekel@jekelteam.de. I’ll be happy to send you the links.

Which GPTs do I recommend for stocks? Grade My Stock, Boolio with double O, Global Invest, Stock Analyst or Analyst by Daizy, not like Daisy Duck, but written with “Z” and “Y”, so Daizy with “Y”, and Stock Analyst GPT. So “grade my Stock, Boolio, Global Invest, Stock Analyst by Daizy and Stock Analyst GPT. So Grade my Stock, Boolio, Global Invest, Stock Analyst by Daizy and Stock Analyst GPT. These are four where you can say, for example: What are the latest key financial figures for Apple, Microsoft, Nvidia. What are the fundamental valuation criteria? To what extent would you recommend buying this stock? And here they can ask questions about shares.

Learning with GPTs

There are of course millions of GPTs on the subject of learning. Two that I find really exciting are the Multiple Choice Question Generator. This means that you can generate multiple-choice questions on any topic, to learn for yourself, for learning control, also perhaps quite interesting as a trainer, as it produces great results.

Something if you want to go deeper into topics, I usually recommend Perplexity. Perplexity is usually more for researching topics or if you’re going into the research section later, which I’ll get to in a moment, but Universal Primer is a great general GPT where you can just deepen your knowledge in different areas. Just give it a try.

On the subject of prompts. With God of Prompt or Prompt Professor, there are two extensions where you can ask what the characteristics of an optimal prompt are or where you can have prompts improved by the AI. In many YouTube videos or press articles or blogs, there is the statement that prompt engineering is the future job description. I think that’s a bit too narrow in my view. I think AI is already good at prompt engineering. I think it’s more important in the sense of AI engineering, i.e. just as you can learn leadership from employees, you can also learn leadership from AI systems. So the topic of prompting would be too narrow for me, because the topic of employee management also starts with recruiting. And if you translate that to the world of AI, it’s also about: Okay, which AI systems do I choose, for example? Which ones do I use? And it goes beyond pure prompting engineering. So those of you who may also have children who are now facing their career fall, I think the topic of prompt engineer is a bit too narrow. But AI engineer in the sense of someone who deals with the meaningful use of AI is definitely a job description that is very forward-looking.

ChatGPTs for the research sector

If I go into the research area, there are three excellent GPTs, Consensus, written with a “C”, Research Assistant and Scholar AI, where you can access scientific publications and new studies, for example. If you want to go even deeper, I recommend Afforai with A and then two “F “s, Afforai. Afforai is a start-up that specializes above all in people who write Bachelor’s, Master’s and PhD theses, i.e. scientific papers, optimizing the research process and structuring scientific sources. And if you can manage with 20 files that you upload, then that’s the maximum you can do with your own GPTs, then the paid version of ChatGPT is completely sufficient. If you are working on a habilitation, PhD, PhD-MBA, then you should take a look at Afforai.

Afforai is also available relatively frequently as a deal at AppSumo. I also have a lifetime deal, I bought the smallest deal once and when it came back, I upgraded to the biggest deal because I use it quite often. But otherwise with ChatGPT, you remember I said, before you look at third-party tools, take a look at the GPTs first and even in the free version of ChatGPT you can use Consensus, Research Assistant and Scholar AI wonderfully.

Yes, then more GPTs and here are some from different areas. And I just went through my sidebar, which I use regularly, which GPTs, because you know, I don’t let a non-swimmer explain to me how to swim faster. So all the recommendations that I give you here in this podcast, as well as in my talks under training advice through to one-on-one coaching for managers, are all things that I have tried out myself.

Yes, other GPTs, AI Humanizer, is a GPT with which you can rewrite AI-generated texts. This is available in an even better version with Deepl Write. You may know Deeple from your colleagues who translate.

They now also have an engine called Deepl Write, where you can write AI-generated texts even more legibly. Please do not use this tool to plagiarize in the context of scientific work. And also otherwise, if you have AI-generated texts. I think it is only right to mark AI-generated content as such, because it is naturally becoming increasingly difficult to tell the difference. For me, this is a question of responsible use. I don’t think the problem is the AI itself, but the irresponsible use of it, and against this background, I think it’s right to label such things.

Yes, with AskYourPDF you can upload one or more PDF files or provide links to PDFs and then ask questions about this document. The good thing is that you can already do this with the free version of ChatGPT, for example, because you can create your own GPT in the paid version. You can then upload up to 20 PDF documents. Here at AskYourPDF, you can even do this with the free version.

Then there is a construction project assistant. Why am I bringing this here? Because I also have a lot of customers from the trades. You can take minutes of construction meetings by simply entering key words. Incidentally, I can also highly recommend Talk Notes as an app for your smartphone. You can simply let it run during the construction meeting and then take minutes afterwards. Otherwise: “Construction, project assistant, very nice GPT.

Then Books. You can get book recommendations on specific topics. You can also get a “book summary”. The only important thing to remember is that before you get a summary from ChatGPT, whether with or without GPT, first ask: Do you have full access to the complete book? Most of the time you will get a no. Then you know that the summary is based on other summaries. And that is of course always a worse result than having access to the complete document. I can then – and this is legal if you have bought the book yourself – remove the DRM, i.e. the Digital Rights Management, and convert this book into a PDF file, which I can then upload in my own GPT or in this AskYourPDF. Please do not do this for books that you have bought from others, or do not pass on these PDFs, but for your own books, just as if you also buy books and use them for yourself, this is also legal in digital form.

Yes, then there is a GPT with Browser Pro, with which you can also access the current Internet. With Web GPT, there is also an add-on for the Chrome browser, also for Edge. And here you can enter a link and access the internet with Browser Pro, with the WebChat GPT, which is available in the Edge browser or Chrome browser, you can also access the extended internet. Sometimes you can’t install plugins, which is why Browser Pro is an add-on that you can generally also use in a corporate context.

GPT for the optimization of landing pages

Yes, if you have landing pages, then there is a great GPT with the Copywriter, Landing Page Analysis. You can enter the link to a landing page and it will tell you how you can optimize this landing page. With Data Analyst you can upload and analyze data. Of course, you should always make sure that you ideally create a provisional chat so that this data is not uploaded or, if you have the paid version of ChatGPT, you can also set it so that this data is not passed on to train your data.

Create diagrams

Yes, you can create diagrams with Diagrams. You can say, for example, “Create a diagram of iPad sales from 2010 to the present, and then you don’t have to research the data, but you can get it out and then make it even more attractive in the second step, without having a Statista subscription, for example.

Yes, then Fully SEO Optimized Article. And with the Fully SEO Optimized Article, the idea is that when you write a blog post, it should ideally be search engine optimized. And this is where ChatGPT and this bot analyze SEO-optimized writing. This means that you don’t write what you think is relevant, but what ranks very highly on Google. And of course an SEO agency is always more efficient, but better done than perfect.

Yes, if you are now asking yourself the question: Gee, how many GPTs? What do I need them for? What GPT is there? Then there is also a GPT directory. That means 22,500 plus best custom GPTs. So you can simply say: I’m looking for a GPT for this and that task, and then you’ll get one or more recommendations. Finally, there are two more from me, the iPad Coach and the M365 Coach. This means that you can also ask any questions about how to work more productively on the iPad and how to solve problems there. The same applies to M365. So use it for that too. The nice thing is that until recently, these GPTs were only available in the paid version. Now you can also use them in the free version, including my iPad Coach or my M365 Coach.

Conclusion

If you have any further questions about M365, the iPad or AI, please do not hesitate to contact me.

I am at your disposal for keynotes, training, consulting and one-to-one coaching of executives.

With this in mind, we wish you every success.

Yours, Thorsten Jekel.
