My father used to be a top manager at Braun. So even as a child, I developed a fascination for the design philosophy of Dieter Rams, which also inspired Apple: "Form follows function“. My first computer was the legendary C64, on which I developed and sold software as a teenager. Since then, the fascination with the possibilities of IT has never let me go. In 1988, I started my career with computer pioneer Heinz Nixdorf. In my professional positions, from sales assistant to sole managing director in a mid-sized company, I have always focused on how IT can make you more productive and generate more business. During my time in management at Tchibo, I also completed an Executive MBA at the renowned Henley Business School.
